　　Section I.  Summary（第一部分  概要）

 

　　Based on mutual consent, YYY will enter into a “3 + 1 + X” collaborative academic program agreement with the XXX .  YYY will select highly qualified students, as outlined below, from its College of Engineering to participate as exchange students at XXX.  All exchange students from YYY will have the opportunity to enroll in XXX’s Master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering （MSME），if they meet standard entrance requirements.

 

　　（基于双方同意，XXX与YYY将进入一个“3 + 1 + X”合作的学习计划协议。YYY将选拔高素质学生，如下面所述，从工学院参与作为XXX交换学生。所有的YYY交换学生如果他们符合标准的入学要求将有机会注册机械工程的硕士学位（MSME）。）

 

　　Section II.  Program Management（第二部分 项目管理）

 

　　Each party to the agreement will appoint an officer who will be responsible for the coordination and administration of the exchange, including the selection and advising of the exchange participants.

 

　　（协议的每一方将任命一名工作人员负责协调和管理的交流，包括选择和咨询的交流参与者。）

 

　　Section III. Student Eligibility and Academic Status（第三部分  学生资格和学术地位）

 

　　The Exchange Coordinator will be responsible for the selection of suitable nominees for the 3+1 exchange program.  Participating students from YYY must meet the following requirements:

 

　　1.Junior-standing in one of the following majors: YYY, Mechanical Engineering.

 

　　2.An academic GPA of 3.0.

 

　　3.English proficiency, as demonstrated by a TOEFL of at least 550, an iBT of 79 or higher, or an IELTS score of at least 6.5.  Students with TOEFL scores between 520 and 550 or an IELTS score between 5.5 and 6.5 may be provisional admitted to the program provided they participate in remedial English courses at XXX.  These students cannot participate in fourth-year program courses until they have successfully completed their required English courses at XXX.

 

　　4.Students may be exchanged for a semester or a full academic year.

 

　　5.All students participating in the 3+1 exchange program will remain enrolled as regular degree candidates at their home institutions.  Exchange students are expected to maintain full-time status at the host institution.  Exchange students will have the rights and be subject to the same regulations as students of the host institution.

 

　　（交流协调员负责为3 + 1的交流计划选择合适的候选人。来自YYY的学生必须符合下列要求：

 

　　1.下列专业大三在读生： YYY机械工程

 

　　2.学术平均成绩3.0

 

　　3.英语流利，托福成绩至少550分，新托福的成绩为79或更高，或雅思成绩不低于6.5分。托福成绩在520分到550分之间的学生或雅思成绩5.5分到6.5分之间的学生可以临时承认他们参与项目提供的在XXX学院的补救英语课程。这些学生不得参与四年制的项目课程直到他们已经成功地完成了他们在XXX所需的英语课程。

 

　　4.学生们也许会交换一个学期或一个完整的学年。

　　Section IV.  Admission and Degree Requirements for the Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Program（第四部分 机械工程硕士学位计划的入学和程度要求）

 

　　Students, who complete the 3+1 degree program with a GPA equal to or above 3.0 and an acceptable GRE score, as evaluated by XXX, may have the opportunity to enter phase “X” of this agreement in order to complete a MSME degree at XXX.  Participating students must meet all graduate admission requirements established by XXX and must satisfy all applicable academic requirements.

　　Section V. Visa Requirements（第五部分  签证要求）

 

　　Participants will be required to meet any visa requirements that pertain to studying in the host country. In the case of YYY students coming to XXX, they will need to document having sufficient financial resources for the period of stay.

 

　　（参与者将须符合任何在宿主国学习的相关签证要求。至于YYY的学生来到XXX,他们将需要用文件证明有足够的财力停留时期。）

 

　　Section VI. Student Program Fees（第六部分  学生项目费用）

 

　　All travel costs will be the responsibility of the exchange student.  Students from YYY participating in the 3+1 exchange program will pay the same tuition and fees as for undergraduates at XXX.  XXX will provide the annual tuition rate to the participating institutions.  Students from YYY will receive tuition scholarships of $10,000 per academic year or $5000 per semester of their GPA is maintained at 3.0 or higher. If students register for over 19 credit hours in a given semester, any additional tuition fees will be waived.

 

　　Students admitted to the graduate phase “X” of the program will pay tuition as current master’s level students at XXX.  Miscellaneous fees such as special course fees, books, etc. will be paid directly by each participant.

 

　　Each institution shall make reasonable efforts to assist participating students in finding suitable housing accommodations.  Housing fees and meals will be paid by  the participating student.

 

　　（所有旅行费用将是交换生应该承担的责任。来自YYY参与到3+1交换项目的学生将支付和XXX的大学生一样的学费和费用。YYY将提供每年的学费率给参与机构。来自YYY的学生每学年将收到10.000美元的学费奖学金或者每学期保持在3.0或更高可获得5000美元的奖学金。在一个给定的学期，如果学生注册超过19学分，那么任何额外学费会放弃。

 

　　被承认的学生在项目的研究生阶段“X”将支付和当前在XXX硕士水平的学生一样的学费。杂费如特别课程费用，书费等都要被每个参与者直接支付。

 

　　各机构应合理努力协助参与的学生，来寻找合适的房屋住所。住宿费和饮食将由参与学生支付。

 

　　Section VII. Insurance （第七部分  保险）

 

　　Each participating student will provide his/her own health and accident insurance.  Proof of adequate insurance coverage must be provided to the international office of each institution.  YYY students coming to XXX will be required to provide proof of health insurance that meets XXX’s minimum standards for insurance coverage before registering for courses.

 

　　每个参与的学生将会提供他/她自己的健康和意外保险。必须提供给每一个机构的国际办公室足够的保险保额。在登记课程前，来XXX的YYY学生将被要求提供符合最低保险标准的健康医疗保险证明。

 

　　Section VIII. Evaluation and Termination Clause （第八部分  评价和违约金）

 

　　1.This agreement enters into force from the date signed by both parties, and the term of validity is three years.  Either party may terminate this agreement by giving 90-day advance notice in writing.

 

　　2.The program will evaluated after its first year to ensure that policies have been correctly applied and the intentions of the agreement are being met.

 

　　3.The agreement can be added to or amended upon the negotiation of both parties.

 

　　4.One year before the agreement expires, either party can initiate an extension request in writing to the other party. The agreement of extension shall be signed by both sides.

 

　　1.本协议生效之日起进入签署双方的有效期为三年。只要提前90天给予书面形式通知任何一方都可以终止本协议。

 

　　2.本项目将于其第一年后被预估以确保政策已被正确运用该协议目的已实现。

 

　　3.谈判的双方当事人可以添加或修改该协议。

 

　　4.合同期满后一年之前，任何一方可以书面请求立案延伸到另一方。延长的协议应当双方签字。

 

　　Section IX. Disclaimer （ 第九部分  免责声明）

 

　　XXX is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools' Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, master’s, education specialist and doctoral degrees. YYY  is not accredited by the Commission on Colleges and the accreditation of XXX does not extend to or include YYY or its students. Although XXX accepts certain course work in transfer toward a credential from YYY or collaborates in other ways for generation of course credits or program credentials, other colleges and universities may or may not accept this work in transfer, even if it appears on a transcript from XXX. This decision is made by the institution subsequently considering the possibility of accepting such credits.

 

　　This agreement is to be authorized by the official representative of each university in two copies, both in Chinese and English.  Each party keeps a copy.

 

　　XXX是南方院校协会认可校委员会授予“高校合作伙伴”，有学士学位，硕士，教育专家和博士学位。YYY不是委员会所认可的学院，XXX不包括YYY或其学生。尽管XXX接受某些课程的作业，在向一个证书转让从XXX或在其他方面产生的协同工作，学分或程序的证件，其他院校可能或不可能接受这项工作转移，即使它出现在XXX的成绩单。。这个决定是由机构随后考虑是否可能要接受这些学分。

 

　　本协议由正式授权的代表的每一所大学都要两份复印件，既有汉语又有英语。每一方保持一份。
